I have been very self conscious about my teeth for years. I decided to check out the options at The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin. I’m sure glad I did! My experience was amazing. They made me feel comfortable through out the entire process. I had porcelain veneers, and they absolutely look amazing. I am so happy with my smile now! Dr. Schiro did my consultation, and he is so professional and made me feel at ease. Dental surgery is no joke, so you want to have confidence in the dentist. This was costly, but Kevin in finance made it really easy. I get very nervous about getting impressions taken, and Roger made that way more comfortable than I expected. Dr. Hay, and his assistant Jen worked on the treatment of my teeth, and that was also more comfortable than I could have ever thought it would be. Really, Jen did a lot to make this less anxiety provoking. As far as a dental treatment goes, she helped make it bearable. The dental hygienist there, Danielle is a professional. Let’s be honest, no one likes to have a teeth cleaning. Well, I can assure you that if all the other dental hygienists were as good as her, people would be less hesitant about scheduling the cleaning. Thanks to this entirely wonderful staff!

I'm a photographer, and so I value photography, and I've always had a thing about teeth. One of the most annoying things about every photo I ever have taken is that, when I smile, it appears like I'm missing the tooth to the left of my top two center teeth. Making the decision to invest in porcelain veneers was something I considered for a while because I didn't have a terrible smile. In fact I got complimented on my smile quite a bit, but I didn't love my teeth. Finally, after taking a group photo with my team and realizing how strong, and perfect one of my associate's teeth looked in comparison I decided it was something I wanted to do for me. I'll admit, I did go through a short period of mourning, as you cannot go back to your original smile after getting porcelain veneers. However, I found myself smiling at myself in the mirror more, taking more selfies, and overall just feeling like a more beautiful happier version of myself. Dr. Schiro and Dr. Barras do an amazing job, and I really felt like I got a luxury experience from visiting the dentist - which, who can really say that? lol. If you want to love your smile The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin is the place to visit.

I received a full set of porcelain veneers from The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin, and I couldn’t be happier with the process and my results. From beginning to end, Dr. Shiro and Dr. Hay thoroughly explained the process and answered any questions I had along the way. Both hygienists that assisted in my procedure were kind, helpful, and accommodating. In as little as two visits, I had a brand new smile. Dr. Hay is truly an artist, and every procedure, elected or otherwise, should be patient-centered like it is at Cosmetic Dentists of Austin. My only regret – I wish I would have done it sooner! I love my new smile.

I went to the Cosmetic Dentists of Austin for porcelain veneers. A dentist had placed crowns on my teeth that were mismatched in color and shape. That dentists tried again and was still way off. I accepted that I needed to seek out the best. Dr. Schiro consulted and Dr. Hay completed an incredible smile for me! I would recommend the Cosmetic Dentists of Austin to anyone looking for detailed attention for a beautiful smile. The whole staff is welcoming and cool. I had a fantastic experience here.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin are! I came to them because my teeth had become so short (I'm a grinder) that I was ashamed of my smile. Dr. Hay and Dr. Barass did my porcelain veneers, and I'm so impressed with their work! Their staff is so kind and caring, and they truly take the time to listen to any and all patient concerns. I haven't smiled this much in so long; choosing this team was the best decision I ever made!

I don't write reviews often, if ever... but The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin are the best in the business. Not only is their work impeccable (I finally smile in pictures now, I actually can't stop smiling), but they are also the nicest people around. Everyone from the finance/admin personnel, to the hygienist, the assistant dentists, and Dr. Hay and Dr. Schiro all make your experience so pleasant you forget you are at a dentists office. If you are worried about if they are the right people to trust for your veneers, I will tell you right now - THEY ARE. I love my smile and I loved my experience with everyone in the office. Also, literally everything has been included in the price that was given to me. The office is also very clean, bright, and welcoming. I cannot express enough how amazing this experience was for me. I was definitely so nervous before meeting anyone at the office and from my first visit, I knew I could trust them, and I was right. Thank you all at the Cosmetic Dentists of Austin. I am seriously beyond happy, and beyond grateful. 🙂

Since I was 14 years old I can remember wanting a better smile. I’ve never had “bad” teeth, but I never really felt confident taking photos or looking in the mirror. A few years ago I started doing more research on veneers and gum contouring and had two consultations with a well known cosmetic dentist in San Antonio. The price was much higher than expected and he said he wouldn’t be able to raise my gum line much higher than what it was. I was discouraged and gave up on my hopes of a perfect smile until I found the cosmetic dentists of Austin. For about 6 months straight I analyzed every before and after case on their Instagram before I finally built up the courage to make my first appointment. My consultation was in early April 2021, and I had my brand new smile by 14 May 2021. They were surprisingly much less expensive than what I had anticipated, and they definitely take care of their military!! These professionals, are the real deal!! They take pride and care in every case and it shows. Dr. Shiro has literally changed my life. If you are on the fence about getting this done because you’re scared or aren’t sure if veneers are for you, I promise you will not regret doing it. The only regret I have, is that I waited so long to do it!!!

I am so grateful I decided to go with The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin for my new set of porcelain veneers! I am absolutely amazed by the end result and the before and after photos. Prior to finding them, I had gone through a lot, was in a bad car accident, suffered multiple injuries, knocked out teeth, and had to have brain surgery. However, their team was such a pleasure to work with. Dr. Hay’s work was fabulous, and from Amber to Kevin to Jen, Danielle, and everyone else; they were all so patient, funny, sweet, and professional. It was exactly what I needed during a tough time and now I feel so confident again with my smile. Thank you all!!
