I am embarrassed to admit that I had avoided the dentist for too many years. My teeth were hurting so bad that I had no other choice, but to find a dentist that could help. After my first meeting, I knew that Dr. Shiro, Dr. Hay, and team were the perfect fit. They worked with me, and my anxieties, to help make a plan to get the smile I always wanted. I have been to several dentists and orthodontist about how I can improve my smile. This is by far the best choice I have made in regards to my dental care. They immediately knew the best option for me and took the time to explain everything in detail. They helped me make payment arrangements and even saw me for the records visit the same day as the consultation to accommodate my schedule. They scheduled me for my next visit and I can't wait to get my new smile. The staff and Dr. are very friendly and they genuinely care and want to help you.

They are open for 1hr consults on Sat. Arrived for 11am appt was approached immediately. Upon completing just one form I was with working on my consult within 5min. Of all appointments in my past...this was by far the most comprehensive. The coordinator spent 10 kin taking additional xrays and explaining options. I then saw Dr. Shiro who edplained in more detail and answered all questions. The staff spent almost 2 hrs with me. This was from xrays and questions to getting payment arrangements completed and making my first appointment. I'm extremely excited about my future smile for the first time in 22yrs.

Everyone was awesome. I went into their office expecting to get a 2nd opinion and leave. They didn't just try to sell me a plan. Taking the time to talk to me and show me what was going on is what made me want to get the work done there. I am glad I did. Everything looks great. I smile bigger. I feel better. I worked with Ashley, Amber, Dr. Hays, Christa, Jen, Sarah. They made going to the dentist seem a lot less like going to the dentist. 😉

I had a smile makeover done and from the first phone call to the last visit was an amazing experience. I've never been a fan of going to the dentist but everyone was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Working with the public you sometimes have low self confidence of you can't smile like you want to. They helped me out so much and it was a great experience!!

I work in the corporate world and there is more face to face time than I would have liked and it all came from my own insecurities because of my smile. I did research for the past 2 years on veneers and I have had many consultations in regards to veneers and no other Dentist compares to The Cosmetic Dentist of Austin. They were so welcoming and open to thoughts of how I wanted my new smile. I went in with the hopes of having a nice smile and I walked away with a beautiful smile that I still can't believe I have. Amber was a huge help and she walked me through step by step during the process. Dr.Hay really is a magician and Dr. Schiro is the nicest person you will ever meet in the Dentist industry. Usually when you go to a Dentist they complete their work, give some tips on what to do when you get home and that's it well... not here they checked on me to make sure everything was ok. They also went over every detail to make sure I was happy with my future smile. I must admit I'm the biggest baby when it comes to needles and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed through out the whole process. I am trying to find the words to describe my experience with The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin.... it's TRULY BEEN A LIFE CHANGING experience! I have struggled with my smile my entire life...for as long as I can remember. I never had dental work done as a child and as time went on ...my teeth became more crooked...thus, preventing me to ever want to smile. I became so accustomed to not smiling ....that, I had learned without knowing it..how to constantly cover my teeth with my lips while talking and DEFINITELY NEVER smiled for a camera. I can't tell you how many times people asked me if I was okay or why I never looked happy in any pictures...especially my beautiful children. That was what hurt the most.... even on the most important and and significant days with my family...because of my extreme insecurity with my teeth.. I felt it impossible to ever smile for the camera. Well ... I am now 40 years old and because of The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin... I CAN NOW SMILE FOR EVERY MOMENT IN LIFE!!! After submitting a picture of me smiling with my teeth along with a little story of how I felt throughout my life... I recently won their " Smile Makeover Contest" they advertised on Spirit 105.9....and I have felt like I am having an out of body experience ever since! SO EXHILARATING! From my very first time walking into their office... their staff made me feel SO COMFORTABLE and RIGHT AT HOME. Every staff member there is so extremely friendly and understanding of how you are feeling....even without saying a word. Dr. Schiro and Dr. Hays are absolutely AMAZING! Not only with the incredible work they perform with your smile..but, they are two of the most caring individuals I have ever met! This entire office works completely from their HEARTS! They are patient...accommodating... understanding and explain everything that they do slowly and in depth for you. There was virtually ZERO PAIN with the entire procedure! With just 2 visits, I had a COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION of my smile... It's truly miraculous! I have never experienced another business like this office.... it's truly like having an extended family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this office to ANYONE who is looking for any kind of change to their smile.... this office and the work that they perform will change your life in such a POSITIVE AND PROFOUND way! Tremendous experience with "The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin". Fall of 2013, this wonderful team relieved Mother of the Bride with my new look for the upcoming wedding in June 2014. I had 10 top teeth redone, two root canals at the same time. The brand new smile has not left my face. The relief was that I was up against pulling teeth, jaw surgery, braces for min. 2 years. Within 2 appointments I had beautiful teeth and was ready to smile for the wedding. The team at Cosmetic Dentists took care of every worry from procedures to paper work. I just relaxed while they did all the work. Fast Forward to May 2015. It was now time to repair my bottom teeth that had been grinded down prior to the top teeth being replaced. Relaxed and taken care of from the moment I called to get a checkup, to deciding it was time to fix the bottom, my fears again were relieved. My smile is even bigger and brighter. The team was so attentive and reassuring on every level. The confidence my new look has given me has increased my outlook with knowing that I don't have to hide my teeth anymore. It was so easy.
