Coming to The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin was truly a life changing experience for me! I had small teeth and always hated my smile so I decided to come in for a free consultation. I was recommended porcelain veneers and Dr. Hay and the whole staff made the process easy and alleviated any concerns I had. I can not recommend them enough and I can’t stop smiling now!!

I recently got a smile makeover on my top teeth. I got porcelain veneers. I couldn’t have went to a better place to get a new smile. My husband recently had a full set of Porcelain Veneers put on prior to our wedding...he had been needing a dental upgrade for some time and has never been comfortable in the dentists chair. Dr. Shiro, Dr. Hay and staff all made him feel at home and were super transparent throughout the whole process! I am a big proponent of self love and self worth. However, I fully believe in changing or fixing attributes you are able to help improve your self confidence. I have always been "that girl", the one who rushed to a certain side for photos because I needed to be on "my good side". My teeth and smile have always been an area I don't love. Having braces growing up, I knew that just straightening my teeth would not give me the happiness I was looking for as I had disproportionate/not symmetrical teeth. After months of researching, I knew veneers was my only hope to be completely happy. I landed at The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin. Every staff member and doctor absolutely catered to me from the initial consultation. At the initial consultation, I will admit, I was even more self conscious than ever before. However, I left that day with relief; I was a good candidate for veneers, we had devised a plan to begin the treatment process and I had an overall great idea of what was to come. The team consistently gave me their undivided attention, answered my numerous questions and ultimately put me at ease. To say I felt pampered is an understatement, it was a great change in pace to my busy mom of 3 life. We hit a bit of a bump with the epic snow storm delaying my veneers appointment. The team handled it with grace and professionalism leading us to today, where I have a beautiful and symmetrical smile. Getting my permanent veneers placed was one of the best days of my life. (obviously wedding and kids come before). I no longer have to care what side I am on when my kids want a quick picture. I'm confident for when the next team photos for our real estate team come, as we all know those headshots show all. I'm beyond thankful for each team member that helped me along my smile journey.

My experience with the wizards of the Cosmetic Dentists of Austin was so incredible, I really don't know where to start. I have had TMJ so badly for my entire life. People could hear my jaw popping from across the room while I ate, I clench my teeth in my sleep and it caused severe tension headaches. I found this place from reading google reviews and went for a consultation when I couldn't take my pain anymore. They were extremely informative in telling me what was actually going on and I was blown away. Kevin in finance was extremely accommodating and laid out all of my payment options and was patient as he worked with me. Dr. Barras and Dr. Schiro were incredibly kind, gentle, and always made sure I was comfortable as they were placing my porcelain Veneers on. I am now so confident in my new smile and am so happy to say that all of my TMJ side affects are GONE, like, COMPLETELY GONE. I'm so happy with these amazing people and I'm actually going to miss seeing them. If you have thought about going but have hesitations, I'm here to tell you to GO, you will not be disappointed.

Growing up I had a horrible dentist who didn’t even have a hygienist and did everything himself. Needless to say, that meant years of cavities that could’ve been prevented and nonstop fillings unfortunately! The fillings were helpful for years but eventually they started to discolor and I became really self conscious about my smile to the point that I stopped smiling in photos at all. I knew that the price of porcelain veneers wouldn’t exactly be cheap but The Cosmetic Dentists of Austin made the entire process easy to understand and I couldn’t pass up the “Last Time You Pay” promise! Dr. Shiro and Dr. Hay were so personable and kind. Ultimately, Dr. Hay was the one to complete my procedure and I couldn’t be happier with the results!! Now I just need help convincing my husband to let me do my bottom teeth in the future because I’m absolutely in love with my top! Thank you so much!!

The staff are all very kind and personable. I had gone through years of ortho work that was ultimately a waste so I decided it was time to get porcelain veneers to solve all of the dental problems I had. Dr. Barras was very understanding of my situation and made me feel comfortable about making the decision. Although it definitely took some time to get used to I am grateful to have been able to get the work done that I needed right here in Austin 🙂
