- Take nitrous-oxide gas and feel completely relaxed, “numb” (and a little happy), and yet conscious during your treatment. You will know what is going on, but really won’t care.
- Take a safe, yet effective pill and feel completely relaxed before and during your dental procedure. You probably won’t remember the actual procedure and will drift in and out of sleep. Most patients who want sedation choose this option.
- Or, “IV Sedation Dentistry” if you want to be completely unconscious during your dental treatment. (This is rarely needed unless a great deal of work is going to be done at once or the patient is a true dental phobic.) This is an M.D. administered and monitored anesthesia that is done in our office. When you wake up from your procedure your work will be completed and you won’t remember anything.
