There are just too many factors that affect the longevity of dental restorations, such as, dental hygiene, accidental trauma, decay, and many more. Even our best estimates are just that…estimates.
Even under the best possible conditions, unexpected things happen, and porcelain crowns and dental veneers break, are damaged, become loose, or come off. When this happens, it’s not just the effect on your smile that’s upsetting, but the prospect of having an unanticipated expense.

The only thing you need to do is make sure:
- The repair or replacement is done in our office.
- The tooth in question can be saved.
- You have had at least two dental cleanings per year since the replacement of the porcelain crown or veneer. (The cleaning doesn’t even have to be in our office.)
- You tell us immediately of any dental problem related to our treatment or discovered at your two annual cleanings.
(This policy excludes any damage caused by recurrent decay)
